Bookshop reopens, plans activities
The Old Spenyville Bookshop and Coffee House reopens Thursday, March 8 with a “free coffee day” to welcome back its customers. Stop by for a free cup of coffee and a look at the expanded used book section.
For March, the shop is featuring a special display of books of Irish interest, in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. A special music program will be held on Sunday, March 18 at 3 p.m., featuring “old-time’' music performed by local musicians. For information call 987-8444.
Silver to perform at Blue Moon

Services Board to meet
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 13 at 1 p.m. at 15361 Bradford Road. Republican Mass meeting set
Rappahannock County Republicans will meet on Tuesday, March 20 at the Rappahannock courthouse at 7:30 p.m. to elect delegates to the State Convention on June 1-2. At that time, Republicans from across the Commonwealth will nominate candidates for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general.
