On Friday, Jan. 4 Dick McNear, Chairman of the Board of the Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District, presented a copy of W. Patrick McCafferty ‘s Aquatic Entomology to the Rappahannock County Library.
The library’s Assistant Director, Jenny Glenn, received the volume, thanking the District for the addition to their reference collection. The book is a guide to the insects that live on stream bottoms, which are used as an accurate indication of long-term stream health and water quality.
