OPEN FOR BUSINESS: David Lillard (pictured above) and his wife, Mary recently opened the Flint Hill Country Mart, formerly Flint Hill Store. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Lillards plan to specialize in deli sandwiches, as well as hot sandwiches, gourmet coffees, morning pastries, fresh baked breads, fresh produce, a grocery line and a line of gifts and accessories. Flint Hill residents and Rappahannock citizens at large are encouraged to stop by and welcome the Lillards to the community.
