Otis R. Thornhill Jr., 88, of Culpeper died on Sunday, Jan. 13 at Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community.
He was born on Sept. 7, 1913 in Boston, Va., a son of the late Otis R. Thornhill Sr. and Pearl Early Thornhill.
Mr. Thornhill was a businessman and hardware merchant.
He was a member of the Host Lions, a member of Culpeper Baptist Church, a charter member of Culpeper Country Club and an avid gardener.
Survivors include his children, Susan Morris and her husband, George of Winchester, Pamela Harris and her husband, Keith of Culpeper, Otis Thornhill III of Richmond and Robert Thornhill of Richmond; one brother, D.W. Thornhill of Arlington and ten grandchildren.
