Helen W. VanDoren, 72, of Boston died Monday, Jan. 14 at her residence.
She was born March 2, 1929 in Newark, N.J., a daughter of the late Martin Weibel and Mary Trum Weibel.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Fred Earle VanDoren Jr. of Boston; two daughters, Ellen Sanner of Boston and Lydia VanDoren of Culpeper; a son, John Earle VanDoren of Lignum; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Additional survivors include three sisters, Elizabeth Weibel, Edna Simon and Marie Lamendola, all of Flemington, N.J. and a brother, Herbert Weibel of Hamptonville, N.C.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. VanDoren was predeceased by a son, Frank Martin VanDoren and five brothers.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, Jan. 18 at Found and Sons Chapel with Father Leo Zonneveld officiating.
Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery.
