“I talked to Paul Wagner," Thorpe said, "He does this show on cold cases. I really didn’t expect him to call back, but he did.”
Wagner said he was interested in the case because it was complicated.
Unfortunately, the segment, which airs July 26, is only about five minutes long, but Wagner said it will have many items not released before.
"It's a comprehensive piece,” Wagner said. "We will be visiting the (Marshall) Ruritan Club, the 7-Eleven and the gas station, complete with interviews of the detectives."
He added, "The good thing about a show like this is it is not just aired in the Washington area. People as far as Virginia Beach. Ocean City (Md.) and Pennsylvania will see it. Of course our satellite viewers can see it nationwide.”
