Katie Giles collected school supplies, and personal items for backpacks to donate to Social Services who will then distribute them on an as needed basis to children that find themselves displaced from their homes.
Ashlyn Paul presented a Lock-In at her church for area youth to learn about community service. She had several groups speak about how young people can get involved in this community in a meaningful way by offering their time and services to others.
Mindy Cairns had not quite completed her project but certainly deserves recognition. She is working with the athletic director of RCHS to compile necessary information for potential athletes when trying out or participating in a sport.
