He wasted no time in his attempts to begin this process.
On Tuesday, July 8 he announced that he would be attending a preliminary meeting the next morning along with representatives from Fauquier and Culpeper county schools to address the Virginia Department of Education about its desire to create a Governor’s School for the area.
This will not be a summer program, like the school which the county currently participates in. It will be more like the Magnet Schools that other counties have, he said.
