Troop 929 has been in existence for 12 years, starting out in kindergarten as Daisy Girl Scouts, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes and finally Seniors.
When asked as Brownies what they would like to do when they grew up, eight of the 11 were committed to becoming dolphin trainers. Their goals have changed as life has changed them, but they are all still aiming high as they plan for post secondary educational pursuits.
Their plans for next year include a College in Switzerland, James Madison University, Longwood College, Lord Fairfax Community College, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University, Wakefield Country Day School, and one more year at Rappahannock County High School.
Each of the girls expressed their gratitude to Troop Leader Karen Alexander with a special memory and presentation of a rose.
