Disbro and Jill Keihn described the school’s approach to environmental education and its water monitoring program. Rappahannock High School Science Teacher Beth Gall spoke about her 9th grade Earth Science classes and 11th and 12th grade Environmental Science classes.

County Supervisor Bob Anderson, a member the Rappahannock River Basin Commission, described water protection efforts on his farm near Rock Mills.

Presenter Joe Thompson, District Conservationist with the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), said how encouraged he felt to see his organization’s many partners in their efforts to maintain water quality and keep soil in place.
