very active in sports, clubs, and volunteering with special interest groups in our area and schools. They all have shown great commitment by their many hours of community service.
The following projects were completed to earn the Gold Award. Kori Alexander, Elaine Smith and Karie Beth Von Fange planned a College and Career Fair for their High School in order to share career and educational opportunities with their classmates. They communicated with institutions of higher learning as well as technical programs to arrange for representatives to come and share what might be available to graduates.
Allyson Dodson worked during the summer running a reading and math program through the elementary school for at risk students. She also offered herself as a role model and friend to struggling students.
