Rhonda Lee Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Brown of Sperryville, and Freddie Schaefer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer also of Sperryville, are ready to enter the first grade at Sperryville Elementary School on Monday. Miss Mary Miller Wood returned by plane Monday evening from a summer’s trip to the Continent and the British Isles. She visited three exchange students who had spent three months in Rappahannock in 1951. They were • Guy deFeraudy of LeMans, France, Andre Lanniche of Chevillon, France, and Rasmus Edvardsen of Kerteminde, Denmark. Twelve persons were awarded a total of $77.25 in cash which was given away Saturday night at the Castleton Fire House. A door prize went to Maude Miller. L.V. Merrill, of the Merrill Motor Company in Washington, spent three days in New York City previewing the entire line of 1965 Ford Division products. George Dillard (Charlie) Butler, gardener at WA.
