Atkins of Sperryville, one sister, Maryanna Jenkins of Washington, 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren, and a beloved friend, Mary Breeden of Front Royal.
Funeral services will be held on Aug. 26 at 11 a m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. Jerry Young officiating. Burial will follow in Sperryville Cemetery.

Pearle Lillard Nethers, 87, of Sperryville died Aug. 20 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Nethers was born May 11, 1917 in Nethers, Va., to the late Allen Yowell Lillard and Annie Frances Lillard.
She was a faithful member of Sperryville United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Nethers, seven brothers, Roy C., Thomas, Robert, Walter, Johnnie, Charles and T. Guy Lillard.
She is survived by three children, Bernice Coates, and her husband John H. of Brightwood, Va., Joan N.
