John Dalton. Father Maurice du Castillon will inaugurate weekly Catholic services in Rappahannock County with a mass on Sunday, Aug. 26 in the annex of the Old Washington School. Mrs. Elizabeth H. Haskell of Rappahannock and Martinsville was elected as vice-chairman of the State Air Pollution Control Board at its Aug. 6 meeting held in Chesapeake. Carla Eugster of Rappahannock’s Nethers Centre, runs the facility, which is located near Woodville, as “an informal retreat lor poets and chamber music musicians.” She also has her hands full with over a million worms at her worm farm there. Andy Nichols of Flint Hill has been accepted by the Navy Officers Candidate School at Newport, R.I. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols, and will report to the school on Saturday. He graduated from Lynchburg College after completing Rappahannock County High School.
