This year’s growing season has been exceptional. Last week, Maury Nichols, who lives near Laurel Mills, brought a head of cabbage to the Laurel Mills Store. It weighed 11.54 pounds. Mrs. Fannon also had a Brandywine tomato on display that weighed 2.3 pounds.
The community was glad to hear that Ellen Gore has finished her treatments. Our thoughts and prayers go out to William and Ann Printz, who have been ill this week.
