Clothing exchange
Aug. 28 in Marshall Grace Bible Church in Marshall is sponsoring a community-wide clothing exchange from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 28. Clothing for adults, children, and babies, all in good condition, will be available. Families may take what they can use. All clothing is free. The exchange will be held in the Ruritan Building, behind the IGA store and near the Lone Oak Pool Club in Marshall. Donations of clothing will be accepted at the Ruritan Building from 1-4 p m. Aug. 25-27. Families do not have to donate to participate. Leftovers will be donated to local charities.

Orchestra holding
auditions on Sept. 7 The Piedmont Regional Orchestra, in its ninth year of performing in Fauquier County, will hold auditions for new members at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7. Auditions will be held at The Highland Center for the Arts, 587 Broadview Avenue (U.S. 17) in Warrenton. Auditions are open to experienced high school students and adults. Musicians should bring their own instruments and be prepared to play with members of the orchestra. Prepared pieces are not required. Questions may be directed to Linda Lounsbury, (540) 270-3168.
