GENERAL OBLIGATION SCHOOL BONDS BY THE

COUNTY OF RAPPAHANNOCK, VIRGINIA

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors (the “Board") of the County of Rappahannock, Virginia (the "County"), will hold a public hearing pursuant to the provisions of Section 15.2-2606 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, with respect to the adoption by the Board of a proposed resolution authorizing the issuance, sale and award of the principal amount not to exceed $4,000,000 Rappahannock County, Virginia General Obligation School Bonds, Series 2004 (the “Bonds") to be sold to the Virginia Public School Authority (“VSPA") in the Fall Bond Sale for the purpose of providing funds to pay a portion of the costs of capital projects for school purposes in the County (all school projects for capital purposes in the County being collectively referenced herein as the “Project").
