Ken Marlor, the newest board member from the Stonewall-Hawthorne District said the building of a middle school would require construction costs and finding a site, plus an administrative staff. He felt it would likely be unnecessary unless there was a population spike. The 6th and 7th grade middle school years are now at the elementary and the 8th grade is in the high school.
