Williams mentioned several local residents who have used her products in the past.
“Christine Fox, she’s a real good customer. She always wants my ham biscuits,” Williams said. “And Dr. Allison gets my coconut cake. He loves my coconut cake.
“But everybody gets my stuff now. I don’t think there’s one person living in Fauquier County who hasn’t had my cakes.”
Williams was smiling throughout her explanations. She seemed blissful about what she could do in the kitchen.
“I give out samples at the (farmer’s) market, and I see people walk away, eating, and then they come back and buy something,” she said. “That makes me feel good.”
She said she was willing to {jive out any recipe she had to anyone who might want it.
“Sure, I’ll give them out, I don’t mind. But I don’t measure out salt or other seasonings, I just judge it, so it might not turn out like mine,” she said.
