brothers, Junior Silas Foster of Front Royal, Waberly Downing Foster of Myersville, Md., and Jesse Lee Foster of Sperryville; and a sister, Victoria Jenkins of Front Royal.
Mrs. Settle is also survived by four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Aug. 26 at 2 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. L. D. Savage officiating. Interment will follow in Flint Hill Cemetery.

Florence Patricia Kowalewski, 81, of Amissville died Aug. 18 at Warrenton Overlook Care Center.
Mrs. Kowalewski was bom Feb. 26, 1923, a daughter of the late Paul and Marie Paschen.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Illinois and was active in the Warrenton Presbyterian Church. She also was a member of the Manassas Garden Club and loved crafts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Kiesgen.
