Confederacy and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was active with the Boy Scouts for many years.
Mrs. Weddle was the wife of Robert L. Weddle for more than 57 years, mother of Robert M. and William B. Weddle and sister of Emily L. and Calvin Jackemeyer of Middletown.
She is survived by four grandchildren, a great-grandchild and two nieces.
She was a very loving and caring person to all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Dec. 16 at 1:30 p.m. at Murphy’s Falls Church Funeral home, 1102 W. Broad Street, Route 7. Interment will follow in Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mary Weddle, Capital Hospice, 6565, Arlington Blvd., Falls Church, VA 22042.
