This is in response to those
critics of Patrick O’Connell whose letters appeared in the Rappahannock News on Dec. 9. While I have profound respect for their faith, I have to think that in this instance they are more eager to find fault than they are to understand.
One writer comments, “fi^d your story omitted the several references by Mr. O’Connell to himself as ‘pope’ or his book as ‘bible’. . . .” Actually, Mr. O’Connell did not refer to himself as pope nor his book as bible, nor did your reporter say he did.
