The Sperryville Business Alliance (SBA) has completed the first stage in promoting businesses in the greater Sperryville area with the publication of a beautiful new Sperryville brochure.
It discussed future plans at a meeting held on Dec. 5 at the Glassworks Gallery.
The group proposed several agenda items to be considered in the first six months of 2005 to support the local business community including adopting a Mission Statement, incorporating or otherwise officially structuring the SBA, developing a new, more expansive brochure, developing a wdb site, creating a calendar of events, planning fund-raising events /opportunities, exploring non-profit incorporation, providing opportunities for cooperative advertising and promotions, and researching possibilities for educational and entrepreneurial programs.
General membership in the SBA is available to any interested business with a 987 telephone exchange. Associate membership will be offered to businesses outside of the 987
