Accident
Mell Thorton Greene of Charlottesville was charged with reckless driving after he went off the road, colliding with trees and totaling the National Linen Service truck he was driving last week. The accident happened on Route 231, seven miles from Sperryville. According to State Trooper Lee Felts, Greene was transported by Sperryville Rescue to Culpeper Hospital where he was treated and released. Sperryville Fire Department also responded to the call.
