The Town of Washington Architectural Review Board met last Thursday with four applications on its agenda.
The board approved replacement of an existing sign at 189 Main Street, the Foster-Harris House bed and breakfast.
An application was approved for partial reconstruction of Kim and Janice Abraham’s house at 537 Main Street. The addition, which is located on the north side of the house, will include one and one-half rooms. The materials that are slated to be used in the building will be compatible to those existing in the dwelling.
Also approved was a request by The Inn at Little Washington to build fencing at the first house just south of the Post Office in Washington on Main Street where the shop, Rare Finds, used to be. The fence will be located between the pillars on the front wall.
