Central was strong offensively using lots of motion to confuse the Lady Panthers. Central’s players had mostly open shots due to missed defensive assignments.

Central pulled away in the second half. With a weak inside defense Rappahannock allowed Central to make the majority of its shots underneath the basket.
Due to recent injuries on the Panther bench, coach J.D. Almond brought in two junior varsity players to give the team depth. Kim Hutcheson and Jessica Lee helped to fill the bench.
Lacking experience on the court, Rapp players pushed up the court only to hesitate and allow Central’s defense to get into position.
