Although statewide only 53 percent of the 18-24 year olds who have a high school diploma attend college, Rappahannock County High School currently has 72 percent of its high school seniors planning to further their education.
Presently, the job of college and career counseling falls to the guidance counselors who are already working extra hours at the high school.
