Frances B. Jenkins

Frances Belle Jenkins, 86, of Manassas died Dec. 10 at Prince William Hospital in Manassas.
Mrs. Jenkins was bom Oct. 24, 1918 to Charles and Lizzie Woodard in Rappahannock County. She was raised in Fletchers Mill and had resided in Manassas for the past 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Raymond Franklin Jenkins and a son, Benjamin Franklin Jenkins.
Mrs. Jenkins is survived by nine children, Florence Belle Atkins, Edward “Rookie” Jenkins both of Manassas, Ruth Harris, Gene Jenkins both of Remington, Johnny Jenkins, Doris Hensley both of Warrenton, Jimmy Jenkins of Nokesville, Jenny Conley of Front Royal and Nancy Herring of Catharpin.
Additional survivors include 27 grandchildren, 45 greatgrandchildren and 12 greatgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Dec. 14 with Pastor Randall Anderson and Pastor Eugene Zorbas officiating. Interment followed at Stonewall Memory Gardens.
