John Henry Jenkins V On November I. 2004 John Henry Jenkins peacefully passed away in 3 the tranquil mountains of Flint Hill. He was doing something he lo\eil to do, hunting with his brother. Pete and his nephew Jr. , John was born in Jenkins Hollow on September 2. 14.J5. to Hdward and Barbara Jenkins. He was one ol five children. Three of his siblings passed “ before him: Charles Jenkins. Faina Woodard, and Virginia Wharton. His j brother Pete Jenkins lives in Flint Hill. 7 John leaves behind many loved ones: his wife Kay. his daughter Vickie, his son-in-law Alex, his grandchildren F.ricka. Johnathon. Jeremy, Paige. Terrence. Vickie's mother Margaret. Kay’s daughter Tasha. her family, f Robbie. Hunter and Tori and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a lot of long-time friends. John was laid to rest at Washington Masonic Cemetery on November 4, with his two infant sons. Johnnie Ray and Dary l. Our family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and encouraging gestures that they have shared w ith us. You w ill never know how much we appreciate them all. Daddy was such a special man. and we will torever miss him. When . you think of him please remember him with a special song or a happy ittcm3 ory. He would like that. John 14:27 says. "Peace I leave with you. my peace I give unto vou: not as the world giveth. give 1 unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
