This handy and easy to carry “fan” opens to provide a field guide that includes visual keys such as a die-cut leaf, bark pattern, flower, nut, or seed, and a photo of the full tree to help you identify trees found in both the forest and the backyard. There is also a written description of habitat and other facts that give a complete picture. The section about the cultural history of each tree is especially interesting.

This collection of Rappahannock stories, musings, and reminiscences continues to sell well, despite the fact that the book has been around a few years.
