December 21st is shaping up to be a real special day in Chester Gap, especially for Lloyd and Odessa Campbell. Lloyd and Odessa will be celebrating their 62nt* wedding anniversary on this day. Lloyd ^lid Odessa are some of the very warmest and friendliest folks you’d ever want to meet and are well deserving of some special attention. For a couple to have made it together so long is a lesson we all should learn ^om and take to heart. I hope you will all show Lloyd and Odessa just how much you do care and either stop by or drop them a card this week and wish them not only a Merry Christmas but also a Happy Anniversary! God bless and keep you both, Lloyd and Odessa, we all love you very much!

at the church
Friends I do declare, if you missed the play at church this past Sunday you sure did miss a blessing. Now if you came looking for a big fancy production you may have been a little let down. If you came to the mountain looking for a down home style story of the Lord’s word though, then brother you left full. “The Christmas Shoes” was a wonderful production, and showed how God can take the littlest thing in man’s eyes and use it to bring glory to his name and hope to us all. The choir did an outstanding job and I wish I could list the names of them all, as well as the cast and crew, but the space just isn’t here to do so. Just know that all of you involved did a wonderful job and were a blessing to us all. I know that I’m already looking forward to next year!
