PLANNER
Position with the Loudoun County's Community Information and Outreach division of the Planning Department. This position requires experience in preservation and community planning. Responsibilities will include review and analysis of applications before the County's Historic District Review Committee and will assist with the administration of the historic districts. Assists in preparation and coordination of long range policy initiatives including area plans. Will assist with community outreach efforts and evaluation of capital projects for consistency with plan policy. Must possess analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively, ' both in writing and verbally. Expertise in Arcinfo/Arcview GIS software in UNIX environment desired. Requires Bachelors degree and two years preservation and comprehensive planning _ experience. Attendance at night meetings is expected. Prefer master's degree.
