Because there’s about a hundred hospitals in Virginia, it's rare for one hospital to receive three statewide recognitions. But it's happened for Fauquier Hospital. On November 5. Norris A. Royston. Jr.. M.D.. was elected President of the Medical Society of Virginia. He’s a family physician in Marshall and former president of the hospital's medical staff. Rodger Baker, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fauquier Hospital, was elected Chairman of the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association on October 27. Both elected by their peers, both highly respected. To top it off. Trice Gravatte, M.D., recently received the Virginia Medical Society's Salute to Service award for service on behalf of the uninsured and underserved. He's the founding medical director of the Fauquier Free Clinic, volunteers at the Free Clinic of Culpeper and serves on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Association of Free Clinics.
