Bushel baskets are put out in the sanctuary after Thanksgiving to collect canned food for needy families for Christmas.
Flint Hill United Methodist Church collected canned goods that went to a contact person at the elementary school for distribution. A special offering taken during the Christmas Program will possibly be used for supporting a January mission trip to Mississippi to assist hurricane victims. They also make a cash contribution to Social Services to be used as needed at Christmas.
