It was a chilly evening on Wednesday, December 14. But while it may have been cold outside, the music coming from the auditorium at Rappahannock County High School warmed the hearts of all who attended.
Combine a highly talented and motivated group of young music students with the rousing cheers from an overflow audience and it made for a spectacular “Winter Music Festival.”
The band was joined by the high school chorus and Concert Chorale and it was another combination that added to the musical menu that evening.,
Although this was foremost a music concert, it was also part of an ongoing fund-raising effort to help the band purchase its needed marching band jackets. The evening’s raffle and silent auction raised $1,200 towards that goal. Dedicated students and parents continued to work for the band over the
