Piedmont United Way
Piedmont United Way (PUW) has long been a feature of both giving and helping in our county. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts annually receive contributions from PUW to help them with their mission of providing leadership, social and practical skills to our growing youth.
Healthy Families Rappahannock has received support from its very beginnings, as it provides education and advice to parents of children birth through five years.
While these organizations are strictly based in Rappahannock, our residents have received services from almost every one of the 38 organizations supported by PUW in the five county area of Rappahannock, Fauquier. Madison, Orange and Culpeper.
CY special note are the emergency and temporary housing help provided by organizations in Culpeper and Fauquier, and the legal services found in Culpeper. And Piedmont United Way provides a referral service for all kinds of problems in its First Call for Help ^program. 4
