hearing is Mountain Laurel Montessori Farm School’s application for a special-exception permit to operate a school at the former site of True Ewe Farm, north ^of Flint Hill on Zachary Taylor Highway. At the same meeting on Jan. 17, planning commissioners unanimously voted to recommend that the board approve the farm school’s permit.
The third and final item on the board’s agenda for the public hearing is the proposed repeal of the telecommunications tax. The matter has already been approved by the General Assembly, McCarthy said, and it therefore has no purpose in the County’s tax code.
Afternoon meeting
The board has a long list of items to address at its afternoon meeting, scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday.
