LFCC Dual-Enrollment College

credits earned by RCHS Students increase by nearly 100%

According to a report from Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) for the 2006 Fall Semester, 53 RCHS students earned a total of 240 college credits. This is up from 37 students earning 121 college credits during fall 2005.

Note: LFCC is hosting “Super Saturday” on Feb. 10 from 1Q:00 - 2:00 at the Middletown Campus. Sponsored by the Virginia Association of Student Financial Aide Administrators, this event is for all individuals interested in pursuing a college education. Teacher conferences

On February 1, Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled ONLY at RCES from 2:00 - 5:00 and 6:00 - 8:00. RCHS parent conferences are scheduled for March 1.

The reason behind the change: RCHS students start new classes on Jan. 24 in the 4X4 schedule in which students take up to four classes each semester. RCHS Teachers will have a better understanding of student progress by March 1. Thursday, Feb. 1, will be a holiday for all RCPS students.
