Over 65 preschool students and 10 staiT members were entertained at the Child Care and Learning Center on Wednesday, January 24, by Joe Piski’s Back Pack puppets. The theme of his program was the five senses, and the children were enthralled by his creative one-man show featuring very unique animal and dinosaur puppets. Joe has entertained young audiences from Washington, D.C. to Hawaii with his traveling show. He has graciously agreed to donate a show for the CCLC auction this fall. Everyone eqjoy!

Please don’t forget to support our local Girl Scouts by purchasing some of their cookies. They are $3.50 a box. They have a new one this year called “Lemonades” - Savory slices of shortbread with a refreshingly tangy lemon icing. Plus the old stand bys Peanut Butter Patties, Shortbread, Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Sandwich, and more.
So with all those in mind, let’s support the girls, when they come knocking at our door by buying severals boxes of cookies. Remember spring is just around the comer and we can walk the pounds off.
