She has also been selected to work on several public art projects, including the “Party Animals” that appeared in Washington, D.C., in the summer of 2002 and the “Beach Birds” that graced Ocean City, Md., in 2003.
Caulfield’s art has garnered attention around the nation and the world, but she has chosen to remain in the county where she grew up.
“There’s nowhere I’d rather live,” she said. “I feel very lucky to be here. ... I like the idea of having a business in my own community.”
