The property sits adjacent to the Germanna Community College Campus and will occupy the land which formerly held Old House Winery and Vineyards. The property currently falls into Culpeper’s technology zone which was created by the county and incorporated into the comprehensive plan.
“This facility will help promote our technology zone and make it a reality,” said Board of Supervisor’s Chairman, John Coates.
The master plan for the site calls for five data center pods that will each house commercial or government sector technology customers.
