The move was necessary to make room in the Clopton House for the expansion of Belmont Partners, PacWest president Laurel Poffenroth said. Both companies are headed by Clopton House owner Joseph Meuse.
PacWest is leasing the building from Sunnyview, which also owns the adjoining courtyard area. Sunnyview’s Jimmie DeBergh said the courtyard will be maintained as a public space for the town.
