The United Daughters of the Confederacy, Culpeper Chapter #73, cordially invite all Rappahannock County students, grades 1-12, to participate in an annual essay contest. We encourage any public, private or home schooled student to apply his or her knowledge of history. Cash prizes will be awarded and winners wiU be honored at a special ceremony. Essay instructions and rules may be obtained at the Rappahannock County Library, the Rappahannock County Elementary School, or Rappahannock County High School. All entries are due by March 1,2007.
