Feb. 24: Community Drum Circle

All are invited to join in creating rhythm and music on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 5:30-6 p.m. at Sage in the Rappahannock Wellness Center. Group drumming has been proven to reduce stress and can help stimulate coordination, cooperation, and greater listening skills. All ages welcome. No experience necessary. Feb. 25: “Black Pearls"

The Women’s Auxiliary of the Wayland Blue Ridge Association, Inc. will celebrate its 30th Annual Black History program on February 25, at 4 p. m. by honoring “Black Pearte”, our local history makers in the community. This event will be held at the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center, 15044 Ryland Chapel Road, Rixeyville. Special musical guests will be Rev. Isaac Howard and the Community Choir. Persons who have contributed significantly in their community are eligible for the honor. Persons from the following 8county area (that include Wayland Blue Ridge Association) are eligible: Madison, Greene, Orange, Rappahannock, Fauquier, Spotsylvania, Louisa, and Culpeper.
