Pullen, has also resigned as Head Cheerleading Coach. “When you are married you either both do it or you both don’t do it,” she said simply. “Otherwise you wouldn’t have time to see each other." Bonnie Pullen also said that her other job has become more demanding and she is going back to col- - lege to finish her degree.
In 2005, under Pullen’s direction, the cheer leading team placed second in the state competition and the team advanced to regionals this year.
Now she is at a point where the kids that she started with in the beginning are graduating. “Now is a good time to make a switch,” she said, “new blood is always good for the program.” She said that she thoroughly enjoyed coaching and will look back with fond memories of her team. “I wouldn’t trade those years for anything,” she said. “It was a lot of hard work and we had some good times.”
