Center in Leesburg will host a series of “Tuesday Talks,” free educational lectures on a variety of horse care topics. Dates and speakers are: Nov. 27 — Dr. Nat White on lameness; Jan. 15 — Dr. David Hodgson on eye care; Feb. 19 — Dr. Jennifer Barrett on stem cell therapy, and March 11 — Dr. Doug Byars on the newest in equine medicine.

Border trials Nov 24-25
Border Collies and other herding dogs will be featured this weekend at Keepstone Farm in Berryville at the American Herding Breed Association trials Nov. 24-25. Hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. both days, and the event is free to attend. Leashed dogs are welcome. Details are online at www.keepstonefarm.com.
