Warrenton is home to two tack shops, both of which provide a full range of rift f. items for the horse and horseman.
At the Galloping Grape, the unique tack and wine shop, offers many wines with “horsey” labels for the equestrian and wine lover, said owner-operator Kim Pinello.
“Our line of gorgeous hand-made ‘horse theme’ jewelry is another big seller at Christmastime,’' Pinello said.
For the young horse-lover on your list, Pinello asked: “What little girl wouldn’t want a pink saddle, purple half-chaps and maybe gloves to match?”
And for the special horse at holiday time, Pinello pointed out that “many times our brushes have matted bristles, our mane combs have missing teeth. Need we say more? Why not a grooming caddy filled with new grooming supplies” to place under the tree.
