You Can "Make a Difference"
Do you want to give back to your community this holiday season? Do you feel blessed to have so much and want to share your blessings? The RSVP program (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) is wanting to 'Make A Difference' in the lives of seniors in our community. During the month of November, large brightly wrapped collection boxes will be in place around the county in which to deposit non-perishable items. Hackleys Country Store in Amissville, 211 Quicke Mart in Washington, the Rappahannock Library, the Rappahannock Coop, Settle's in Hint Hill and the Sperryville Comer Store will house the boxes. We are asking for donations of all sorts to box up and deliver to county seniors, including groceries, toiletries, and miscellaneous items that would help out and 'Make a Difference.' For information call 540-675-2615.
