He is survived by his children, Linda Somers Bailey and her husband, Eddie of Culpeper, Frank Lee Somers of Rixeyville, Chris Bawkey and his wife, Jodi of Rixeyville, and Cindy Bawkey of Rixeyville, his siblings, Lucy Bawkey Shaw of Mitchells, Rea Bawkey Berry of Viewtown, and Jamie Bawkey and his wife, Shirley of Rixeyville.
Additional survivors include his sister-in-law, Lill Bawkey, five grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
