Gray Ghost Vineyards and Winery is hosting a food drive during the month of December Any donation of canned goods or money will get you entered into a drawing for tickets to one of the fabulous events held there. The food collected will go to a local food pantry.
The boxes are out for the drive to collect food for baskets to go to the elderly and shut-ins. Stop by Hackleys and make your contribution.
And, if you’re looking for things to do during this holiday season, Gray Ghost has a couple of suggestions. On Friday, November 23 you can stop by for their Holiday Extravaganza. There will be light hors d’oeuvres, wine tastings and live holiday musk. There will be tours of the winery at 12.00, 1:30 and 3:00. And they’ve got new gift selections so you can do your holiday shopping. If you have to go shopping on that Friday, this sounds like the way to do it! They’re open from 10 a m to 7 pan. On December 1 and 2, Gray Ghost will be hosting their Holiday Open House from 11:00 am. to 4:00 p.m. You can see a Christmas display featuring over 50,000 corks and a 10ft. Christmas tree. There will of course be great food and wine. And you can collect #13 in the series of unique holiday glasses. Tickets are $15 and include the food, wine and holiday glass. If you’re under 21 it’s $7.
